Main Street Paved in SNOW!

Well it is that time of year once again and the Main Street of Canmore is paved in SNOW! Near some 80 loads of snow from where who know’s as there is not much around. I would guess it came from the Nordic Centre where they actually know how to make it. Starting today the Canmore Winter Carnival is back for another year. (February 10 to 20, 2012). The Carnival will include International Biathlon Cup races as well as dog sled and ski race events on the Main drag. So if you are coming to shop or just walk the streets of Canmore, do bring your skis or snowshoes and do it in style!

Also while you are downtown enjoy some street hockey, ice carver’s, some log sawing, Media challenges and snow sculpting events. If you want more, then hangout at the Block Party with live music and fire pits. If still not enough then visit the art gallery events and photography exhibit. Romi Mayes will strut her stuff in a Live Concert, Saturday, February 11th! As you can see there will be no boredom with so many things to see and do!
