Weird, they don’t migrate? I wouldn’t have expected this.
Ya I agree, but I have found several places where waterfowl and some song birds hang out the full 12 months! Check out the swamp below the Cave and Basin in Banff and you will see the tropical fish that survive the 4 seasons. Wherever you find a hot or cold spring you will find FOOD. Goto Big Hill Springs Provincial Park near Cochrane and you would be amazed at the song birds that survive the winters living in that Oasis! Thanks for tuning in!

Check out the Christmas Bird counts in each area and will be quite a surprise to what does not migrate. JB
