From my office I look out out to the north and can view the entire stretch of Grotto Mountain, a large mountain at the SE end of the Fairholme Range directly North of the Bow River and the town of Canmore. It is a popular hiking spot among locals and is home to the Rat’s Nest Cave. The mountain is blighted by a large mining scar running up its SW slopes, the result of a limestone quarry.

My Rocky Mountain Window operate’s a weather camera which takes a photo of Grotto Mountain and update’s every 2 minutes. Click on Image for a current image. The scar is dead centre.

Hello and Welcome!
My name is Jack, I live in Alberta, Canada and I post photo’s that I have taken along the way. I have added-on a "Bible Quote" to pique the interest of each post. As an ametuer photographer I am fortunate to live in a place and in the middle of two beautiful provinces of Canada, where photo op’s are abundant and the scenery of God's Nature makes you awestruck. A place for which, it is a sin to ever leave home without a camera!
I have named my web site with a "WINDOW " because you get what I see and you are really viewing the wonders of God's beautiful nature! Discover it!
I welcome feedback and questions! Enjoy!
Jack
