Called the Glacier Skywalk, it’s situated in a section of the Jasper National Park called Icefields Parkway. The new walkway is comprised of a glass floor and glass walls so those who venture onto it can see the beautiful canyon that lies underneath and the mountains that stretch towards the sky.
Protruding nearly 115 feet over a cliff edge, Glacier Skywalk dangles 918 feet above Sunwapta Canyon. The skywalk officially opened on May 1st, 2014.
It took about 5 years just to design it and 2 years of seasonal construction to make it a reality.

Hello and Welcome!
My name is Jack, I live in Alberta, Canada and I post photo’s that I have taken along the way. I have added-on a "Bible Quote" to pique the interest of each post. As an ametuer photographer I am fortunate to live in a place and in the middle of two beautiful provinces of Canada, where photo op’s are abundant and the scenery of God's Nature makes you awestruck. A place for which, it is a sin to ever leave home without a camera!
I have named my web site with a "WINDOW " because you get what I see and you are really viewing the wonders of God's beautiful nature! Discover it!
I welcome feedback and questions! Enjoy!
Jack

Looks cool, I’ll be there in August
You will have to take the 5 minute bus ride from the Brewster Central! City buses come and go every 15 minutes! Tangle falls is roaring now!
Yes we already have it booked. I definitely want to spend some time at Tangle falls too, I don’t think I’ve ever been there.
