


Hosea 14:9
” Let those who are wise understand these things. Let those with discernment listen carefully. The paths of the LORD are true and right, and righteous people live by walking in them. But in those paths sinners stumble and fall. “
Context: In Hosea 14:9, the prophet Hosea concludes his book with a final exhortation and reflection on God’s character and the path that righteous people should follow. This verse summarizes and concludes the themes presented throughout the book, emphasizing God’s wisdom and righteousness and the call for the faithful to walk in His ways. It reads: “Who is wise? Let them realize these things. Who is discerning? Let them understand. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.”
