Ephesians 2:8-9 (ERV)

8 – I mean that you have been saved by grace because you believed. You did not save yourselves; it was a gift from God. 9 – You are not saved by the things you have done, so there is nothing to boast about. 

Salvation is a gift from God that cannot be earned through our own efforts or good works. It is received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We are saved by God’s kindness, not because of anything we do. This truth reminds us to rely on God’s grace rather than our own abilities. It is a comforting message that reassures us of God’s love and the incredible gift of salvation.
