Romans 8:5-7 (KJV) 

5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Romans 8:5-7 reveals the contrast between the mindset of the flesh and the mindset of the Spirit. It explains that those who focus on fulfilling worldly desires are driven by the flesh, while those who have the Spirit set their minds on things of the Spirit. The mindset of the flesh leads to death and is hostile towards God, but the mindset of the Spirit brings life and peace, enabling believers to please God and live in obedience. The passage encourages believers to live in accordance with the Spirit, surrendering to His guidance and transforming power.
