Very common in the ponds around Predator Ridge you will find the painted turtles climbing on rocks or whatever to suck up the heat to warm their bod’s! The turtle (Chrysemys picta) is the most widespread native turtle of North America.Fossils show that the painted turtle existed 15 million years ago.
