Wapta Falls is a waterfall of the Kicking Horse River located in Yoho National Park in British Columbia. It is the largest waterfall of the Kicking Horse River, at about 18 metres (59 ft) high and 107 metres (351 ft) wide. The name stems from a Nakoda word meaning “river”.

” Sin will take you farther than you want to go, it will keep you longer than you want to stay, and it will cost you more than you want to pay. “

The concept of “self-sins” refers to the internal struggles and sins that individuals face within themselves. It encompasses the idea of personal wrongdoing or moral failings that can affect one’s thoughts, emotions, and actions. Exploring the concept of self-sins allows for reflection and examination of one’s inner spiritual and moral state, leading to personal growth and seeking forgiveness or redemption for these internal transgressions.

Mark 7:20-23 (ERV)
He said, “The things that come from a person are the things that make him unclean. All these evil things begin inside a person, in the mind: evil thoughts, sexual sins, stealing, murder, adultery, greed, doing bad things to people, lying, doing things that are morally wrong, jealousy, insults, pride, and foolish living. All these evil things come from inside and make a person unclean.”
Context: Jesus addresses the Pharisees and describes how impurity comes from within, listing various “self-sins” such as evil thoughts, sexual misconduct, greed, and pride. The context emphasizes the importance of examining and addressing internal spiritual and moral issues.

In conclusion, the concept of self-sins highlights the significance of internal moral and spiritual struggles that individuals may face. It serves as a reminder to engage in self-reflection, seek forgiveness, and strive for personal growth and moral integrity. Understanding the impact of self-sins allows individuals to cultivate a deeper awareness of their inner spiritual and moral state, leading to a path of repentance, restoration, and transformation.
